Tyra was brought to Baha Mar as our Concierge consultant. I can honestly say that she took a team of Bahamian Citizens that had no experience in Concierge and turned them into absolute professionals. Baha Mar is the largest resort project in the western hemisphere and without Tyra’s vast knowledge and expertise, our concierge department would’ve fell behind the fast pace of opening. Baha Mar had its struggle with opening and Tyra stepped up to the plate without any questions and handled all of the very high-end guests that had their reservations cancelled. With her calming and soothing personality and experience she was able to subdue the upset guests and make them feel extremely comfortable with the troubling situation. There isn’t anyone else I would call when it comes to Concierge assistance and especially the opening of a hotel/resort. Tyra is the best in the business for sure!!

If anyone in the hospitality industry should be named the best there is, it would be Tyra Bell-Holland. Experience alone doesn’t explain how she does it, but her background is discernable enough to understand she is a trained professional at what she does and makes flawless appear easy. I have personally worked along with her while at the Cosmopolitan during the final stages of implementing the hotel casino resort. Tyra Bell is articulate and attention to details. She was able to communicate with all the departments and construction in the design and function of her departments’ workstations and overall success. Her achievements went above and beyond and perfection wasn’t just the goal, it was the daily standard. She is a category among herself and she is qualified to handle any operations position within the resort casino business or other. I truly enjoyed my time working with her and understanding her needs as it pertained to the operations and IT functions. There was always a smile and professional demeanor that is difficult to find and it made my time so much enjoyable being around a consummate executive. Tyra Bell-Holland has been an extreme example of poise and grace in the Las Vegas Concierge Community. I have worked closely with her for over ten years and most recently on Phantom at the Venetian as well as she was instrumental in launching Wayne Brady at the Venetian and launching Jersey Boys at the Palazzo.
