Cirrus Aviation Services Fleet Continues to Grow

Cirrus Aviation Cirrus Aviation Services is thrilled to announce the acquisition of a second Challenger 604 aircraft. The jet has the widest cabin of any aircraft in its class and can seat up to 12 passengers – up from 10 configured for the first Challenger 604 in the fleet. Both jets are exceptionally quiet and deliver speed, sophistication, and style for up to 4,000 miles of long distance travel.

The new addition is an important part of an exciting period for Cirrus Aviation, with the company recently announcing direct flights to Hawaii. The popular resort destination features some of the most stunning beaches and scenery in the world – and can be reached via a direct flight on board the Challenger 604.

“Cirrus Aviation specializes in delivering a world-class travel experience to the world’s top destinations,” says company president Greg Woods. “We’re seeing a dramatic growth in business and by having two Challenger 604 jets, we’re able to give travelers, even more, flexibility in making plans.”

The Challenger 604 Mixes Comfort with Luxury

Cirrus Aviation clients who are already familiar with the Challenger 604 know the aircraft has power in addition to comfort and luxurious elements. The Challenger 604 was first unveiled by manufacturer Bombardier in 1995. An upgrade from the Challenger 601, it featured more powerful engines, a larger fuel supply, a new undercarriage and structural improvements to the wing and tail. The Challenger 604 is powered by two General Electric CF34-3B engines, each of which delivers about 8,700 pounds of thrust.

The comfortable cabin measures 28.4 feet long, 6.1 feet high and 8.2 feet wide.

Both Challenger 604 jets in the Cirrus Aviation fleet include large leather chairs, a sofa covered in designer wool fabric, a deluxe galley, spacious lavatory, two 22-inch LCD monitors, dual USB outlets and Wi-Fi. It also boasts extremely low noise levels – ideal for any long-distance flight.

Cirrus Aviation is Recognized for Elite Safety Standards

Cirrus Aviation also recently acquired a Phenom 100 light jet, which along with the new Challenger 604, helps build a variety of options for travelers within the fleet.

  • Phenom 100 (seating up to four passengers)
  • Beechjet 400 (seating up to seven passengers)
  • Learjet 60 (two aircraft, seating up to seven passengers each)
  • Cessna Citation (seating up to eight passengers)
  • Learjet 45XR (seating up to eight passengers)
  • Challenger 604 (two aircraft, one seating up to 10 passengers with another seating up to 12 passengers)

“Our team is proud to roll out these new offerings,” adds Woods. “This summer marks an exciting period for not only the company but our customers.”
