Jaws Announces Board of Directors & Partnerships

Last Friday, Just Add Water Street Festival Announces Board of
Directors and Partnership with Greenspun Media Group
City of Henderson finds leadership for festival, celebrating community
engagement and fostering redevelopment of Historic Water Street

JAWSLAS VEGAS – The Last Friday, Just Add Water Street Festival has named the members of its board of directors. The officers are Tyra Bell-Holland, president of Ava Rose Agency and CEO of Resortcierge MD; Chef Scott Commings, co-founder of Established Culinary Management; Mark De Pooter, publisher for Greenspun Media Group; Steve Grodkiewicz, CEO of Ecolife Development Corp & Holdings; Chef Antonio Nunez, co-founder of Established Culinary Management; and Kristin Wilson, director of events at Greenspun Media Group.

Because of the combination of business leaders and influencers assembled, and in support of their passion for igniting culture, art and community in historic downtown Henderson, the deeply Henderson-rooted Greenspun Media Group has announced a media sponsorship with its celebrated publication, Las Vegas Weekly. The publication boasts an audience of more than 445,000 local readers and prints 65,000 copies distributed throughout the Las Vegas Valley each week.

“We are proud to be a sponsor alongside the City of Henderson for Last Friday,” said Mark De Pooter, publisher of Las Vegas Weekly. “As a Henderson-based company and trusted media source across all of Southern Nevada, it is important that we stay engaged, encouraging and supporting the entire aspect of the community as far as our reach allows. We are all very excited about this festival happening in our backyard in Henderson, so we didn’t think twice about getting our feet wet.”

Founded in 2017, the festival is scheduled for the last Friday of each month and encompasses all aspects of emerging, culinary and performing arts in historic downtown Henderson at the Water Street District. More than 290,000 people now call Henderson their home, a reason the dedicated festival for the community was a natural choice. The first festival is scheduled for Friday, August 25, 2017, and will feature and celebrate Las Vegas Weekly’s past and present Best of Vegas award honorees.

The festival hours will run from 7 to 10 p.m. with a special VIP event starting at 6 p.m. for media, sponsors, and donors. General admission to the event will always be complimentary. For more information, sponsorship opportunities or to donate, please visit www.justaddwaterstreet.com.
